Any true Texan has been to Billy Bob's Texas, known as the world's largest honky-tonk. The Fort Worth Stockyards hold this huge country and western dance hall and live music venue. The building that houses Billy Bob's was originally a livestock barn, but was converted in the 70s.

Billy Bob's is not just a bar; it offers mechanical bull rides, a restaurant, pool tables, games, arcade machines and of course line dancing. Famous musicians from all over play at Billy Bob's including Willie Nelson and George Strait. Many local bands also perform here. If you're in the mood for a good time with great country music, then check out Billy Bob's Texas!

Billy Bob's also includes a rodeo arena where you can catch some real cowboys in action. Every Friday and Saturday night they host bull riding competitions that are free with admission to the club. It's just another great reason to visit this iconic Texas institution!

Once you enter the front doors, you're greeted by a giant cowboy hat, and the first thing that hits you is the smell of mesquite from our famous grill. We feature live music every day of the week and have been home to some of country music's biggest stars including George Strait, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson and Reba McEntire. We also have a full menu restaurant with all your favorites including chicken fried steak, barbecue brisket and burgers."

Enjoying Your Time at the Club

1.Dress in casual clothing. You'll be walking around a lot and dancing all night long, so dress comfortably. Women can wear jeans or shorts with t-shirts or tank tops. Men should wear cowboy boots and jeans with or without a shirt or t-shirt. A cowboy hat is also appropriate if you have one.

2.Don't bring in any kind of camera. Cameras aren't allowed inside the venue because they interfere with the enjoyment of others (some country stars don't want their picture taken while they're drinking or having fun). Rest assured that there will be plenty of professional photographers taking pictures for you to buy after the show is over anyway.

3.Buy tickets ahead of time if you can, but if not that's okay too. If you're from out of town and plan on visiting Billy Bob's during your trip.

Billy Bob's Texas at the Fort Worth Stockyards is a family-friendly tourist attraction, complete with bull riding, live music and plenty of food.
